Product description

Deion: 
Luminous, bright straw-yellow color with delicate green reflexes. Multi-layered, complex and fresh with elegant, refined fruity notes of pear and quince and a bouquet of hawthorn and jasmine flowers paired with pleasant vanilla and coconut aromas. Delicate, elegant and long in the finish, with a balanced acidity underpinned by tangy notes produced by aging in oaken barrels.

Grape varierty: 
100% Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC.

Production area: 
Vineyard âPfattenâ in Salorno (Bz).  Altitude 210 - 230m a.s.l. Sandy loam soil, deep, fertile, good drainage.

Vinification: 
Classic white wine vinification with alcoholic fermentation for 2/3 in steel vats and 1/3 in new barrels. Contact with the own lees for 6 months.

Matching: 
Pairs with fish dishes, shellfish, seafood, mushroom risotto and mushroom soups, as well as with white meat; also recommended as an aperitif.

Serving temperature: 
10 - 12°C.

Ageing potential: 
3 - 5 years.
