Product description

A great blend of a multitude of valuable varieties, aged in oak barriques.

Varieties: Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Lagrein : a carnival ("Kermesse") of the best varieties!

Deion:
Colour: Dark purple-red
Nose: intensive aroma of wild berries with a discreet spicy note of pepper in the background, typical for Syrah.
Flavour: Powerful in the mouth, very elegant and balanced with delicate toast aromas on the palate; very spicy, with well incorporated tannins. Long finish with great potential. A very elegant wine with finesse.

Winemaking and maturation: The individual varieties are harvested at the same time and vinified as a blend. Only the later ripening Cabernet Sauvignon is fermented separately. The must is fermented in steel tanks for about ten days, followed by 18 months' maturation, one half in new and one half in used French oak barrels. Then after two months in steel tanks, the wine is matured in the bottle for six months before being put on the market.

Serving temperature and food pairing: 16-18°C, with dark meats and game
