Teroldego Rotaliano DOC Bottega Vinai

Classification
Teroldego Rotaliano DOC.

Grape variety
100% Teroldego.

Production area
The Rotaliana Plain, north of Trento, on gravel embankments of the River Noce.

Vinification
Vinified as for red wine, with maceration on the skins for 8-10 days in stainless steel tanks. It is then matured partly in barriques and partly in oak barrels for a maximum of 6 months so as to preserve the fruitiness typical of the variety.

Deion
Has a deep ruby red colour with a violet rim when young. The nose is clean, fruity with hints of raspberry and woodland fruits. As it ages, it opens up and mellows. On the palate it reveals balanced tannins, accompanied by a full, persistent body. It is dry, distinct, full-bodied and austere.

Matching with food
Trentino-style Tonco de Pontesel (stew made with various types of meat), venison with polenta, veal stew, mixed grilled meats.
