Wine deion: Deep garnet red in color, this cuvee exhibits discreet aromas of cherry and cassis. In flavor, it is silky-smooth with well-integrated tannins. This is a very complex wine, persistent in the throat with a juicy and salty finish.
Serving suggestion: Excellent with braised or grilled beef, lamb or game, as well as cheeses.
Grape varieties: 55% Cabernet Sauv., 45% Merlot
Vineyard location: south-southeast facing hillside vineyards in Entiklar (280 - 310 meters above sea)
Soil composition: chalk gravel moraine soil
Growing system: guyot - 7,500 vines / hectare
Yield: 45 - 50 hl / hectare
Age of wines: till 16 years
Vinification: Primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks; 18 months aged in barriques.
