Product description

Grape variety:
50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Lagrein.  

Production area:
Settequercie near Terlano at 270 - 320m a.s.l. Porphyry weathered soil.

Yield: 50 hl per hectare.

Vinification:
Fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 - 18 days. Matured for 6 - 8 months in large wooden casks 50 hl then 2 months bottle again.

Deion:
Color: Fresh, dark ruby red. Nose: Spicy notes with green pepper, fruity with blackberries, floral with the aroma of violets, as well as a hint of green paprika.

Taste: Elegant structure with robust tannins, powerful and full bodied with a long finish.

Matching:
With grilled meats, roasts and ripened cheese.

Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.

Ageing potential:
min. 5 years.
