Vitigno: Lagrein

Posizione e terreno: Gries nei pressi di Bolzano, a 250 m di altitudine, suolo argilloso sabbioso

Sistema di allevamento: A pergola e a spalliera

Vinificazione: Fermentazione lenta a temperatura piuttosto elevata; successivo affinamento del vino in piccole botti di rovere per 20 mesi

Caratteristiche organolettiche: Colpisce il colore rosso granata vivace. Nel bouquet si riconoscono note di ciliegia e legno di rovere che si compenetrano armoniosamente. Inizialmente morbido, poi ben strutturato e robusto. Persistente e piacevolmente tannico nel finale; secco.

Consigli gastronomici: Va servito ad una temperatura di 17° C. Ottimo in abbinamento ad arrosti, bistecche, selvaggina e formaggi piccanti.
