Product description

Varietal: Sauvignon Blanc

Vineyards and soil: Laimburg: sandy alluvial soil, 220 metres above sea level.

Training form: Espalier

Vinification: The naturally sweet Sauvignon Blanc grapes are allowed to dry partially on the vine before harvest and pressing. The must is fermented in barriques, where it remains for 8 months of aging. Deion Topaz in colour with exotic aromas, this jewel of a sweet wine is highly extracted and piquant as well as lingering on the palate.

Serving Suggestion: Ideal when chilled to 12° C, this is not a wine to serve with food, and is even unique among sweet wines, offering the wine lover a singular spectacle for the palate.

Am Gaumen sehr präsent, entfaltet sich mit satter Frucht, eine Fülle an getrockneten Früchten, zeigt aber auch leicht würzige Noten, etwas weißen Pfeffer, die dem Wein Spiel verleihen."

Am Gaumen schön ausbalanciert, gleitet ruhig dahin, zeigt auch da satte Noten nach getrockneten Früchten, im Finale fester Druck, erstaunlich saftig!"
