Tasted barrel (no new oak is used in this cuvée), the 2017 Saint Joseph La Dardouille comes the lieu-dit of the same name, between Mauves and Tournon. Crushed stone and pencil shavings combine with ripe, crunchy cherry fruit in this medium to full-bodied wine that shows terrific tension. It's firm yet juicy, with a long, vibrant finish.
