The dry version of Zibibbo, this aromatic white has a true Mediterranean soul. Bright straw yellow with greenish hues, its brightness becomes grape, pear, melon to the nose; the flower merges with fruit, almond and rosemary. Beautifully caressing, it enchants with the typical features of Zibibbo, pulpy and persistent.
Characteristics: The wine has significant organoleptic characteristics: a good ruby red colour with garnet reflections; an enveloping bouquet with notes of liquorice, red brushwood fruits, hints of violet and spices; the taste has a characteristic fine, persistent sapidity and an elegant sensation of fullness enriched by rounded tannins which merge with its vibrant structure. Excellent with meat and game dishes as well as strong flavoured cheeses. A wine aged for long periods, with a longevity of over 15 years.
The prosecco Superiore comes the exclusive hill country "Cartizze" and, hence, is available only in limited amounts. Ground composition, climate and solar irradiation provide for an optimum full maturity of the prosecco grapes and, hence, an unusual aromatic concentration which is brought by Bortolomiol with the sparkling wine preparation empathetically to the best validity. Of course delightfully, ideal conclusion of a meal. A Spumante of the top class for special occasions.
The ROSÈ, Satèn's alter ego, by which is distinguished for its black "soul", is the evolution of a cuvée of PINOT NERO (80%) and Chardonnay (20%); fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the refinement lasts 24 month. The Pinot Nero, grown on the moronic slopes, gives strength and thickness as well as the typical taste of small red berries, while the Chardonnay gives the taste fullness and roundness.
After a minimum of 18 months on the lees, the bottle is riddled to concentrate the sediment against the temporary cap, then disgorged and packaged. Our Franciacorta Brut displays a delicate, subtle bouquet that is still crisp and fruity, and quite long lasting; in the mouth it is attractively dry, with a velvety texture and exceptionally fine balance. The bead boasts dense, pin-point bubbles, with a foamy mousse seems almost endless.

The fine perlage ensures the persistence of its taste and freshness of the palate combined with its adaptability of being served with a wide range of foods, although it is particularly appreciated served at a temperature of 7/9 C with simple and more creative fish and vegetable hors d'oeuvres, seafood pasta dishes and roast fish or even, as is customary in the area where it is produced, to be drunk throughout the entire meal.
The SATÈN, Franciacorta's prerogative and essence, is distinguished for the exclusive presence of white grapes and berries, and for the inferior pressure (4.5 atmosphere instead of 6) in respect to the other Franciacorta wines. Composing this wine is the variety and less pressure, determining the "smooth" taste of Satèn. The harvest was obtained a cuvée of pure Chardonnay, part of which was fermentation and refined in oak barrels, being the first to be called "millesimo" on the label.
