The multifaceted fruit scent of the Riesling is also present in this grappa. It has notes of peach, apricot, quince, and green apple. It tastes full-bodied and characteristic, at the same time, it is surprisingly smooth.
Just like the wine, the Kerner Grappa the distillery Zu Plun smells very conservative, low-key. On the palate though, it is dry, full-bodied, and very present. In the end, this distillation exhibits a typical profile with a taste similar to nutmeg.
